If you are considering a particular course of action in connection with your employment, it may help you to have an independent and objective opinion of your situation, explaining options open to you and the risks and benefits of each. An Assessment is a written statement, based on information you provide, that gives you honest, comprehensive and objective information to help you decide what to do next. It will quantify, so far as is possible, the risks of taking a particular course of action, including making a claim.
If you want to engage Humane Resources to help you on a contract basis e.g. for tribunal representation or for ongoing support, I'm required by law to provide you with an assessment before entering a contract. However, if you purchase an assessment, you're not obliged to engage me on a contract basis The contract document would detail things such as the risk of losing money and, in the case of legal action, appearing in court. Before you signed, you would know: - the services that will be provided, in a way that does not misrepresent either by implication or omission, any term or condition or by whom the service will be provided;
- The procedures that will be followed;
- Contracts that the you would be asked to agree to;
- Fees for which you would be liable, with an illustration of the possible total cost in pounds;
- Information about any referral fee or other financial arrangement with any other person in respect of introducing a claim. (NB we have never charged or received a referral fee);
- Any other costs that you may have to pay;
- Documentation needed to pursue the claim;
- Procedures to follow in the event of a complaint;
- How you may cancel the contract and the consequences of cancellation including the reimbursement of any costs paid during the cancellation period and any costs or penalty that has to be paid after the 14 day cooling off period;
- Your right to seek further advice or to shop around, subject to any time limits within which a claim must be made.
| | | Charges For researching and producing an Assessment the standard fee rate is £39.00 per hour, but I will not hold you to this. The price you pay is the price that YOU think is right, based on these guidelines: - Humane Resources' standard fee rate is £39.00 per hour.
- How much effort went into providing this?
- Were you dealt with promptly and politely?
- How much would this have cost you from an alternative source?
- Are you on full pay, or out of work?
- Based on the above, what would be a fair price for both of us?
Once you have your assessment document, please use the PayPal link in the e-mail, or the link here. You could also pay by an alternative method of your choice.
Why let you choose the price?I realise this pricing method is unconventional, if not unique. I am trying it this way because I don't think it's fair to insist on payments from people whose income might have just ended. If you're already under stress, you don't need me adding to it. I am here to help, not exploit. That does not mean the service is completely free of charge - this is my job and if no one pays then the service can not be sustained. However, I am confident that so long as I provide clients with something they value, and where they have the means to pay, they will. Please note this offer only applies to the first £250 worth (approx 6.5 hours) of work. Thereafter the standard fee rate of £39.00 per hour applies. |
